Binalyze OÜ

Automated Investigation and Response Platform Powered by Digital Forensics

Company Profile

The Fast Track to Digital Forensics

Binalyze is redefining the digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) space by delivering automated, lightning-fast investigations. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, the company has developed a platform—Binalyze AIR—that collects and analyzes forensic evidence in minutes rather than weeks. With over $30 million in funding from top-tier VCs like Molten Ventures, Cisco Investments, and Citi Ventures, Binalyze is scaling rapidly to help enterprises and MSSPs worldwide build proactive cyber resilience and slash incident response times.

A Culture of "We Before Me"

At Binalyze, the culture is anchored in autonomy, flexibility, and a strong sense of collective purpose. The team operates under a "we before me" philosophy, ensuring that every member's ideas are valued and collaboration is seamless despite being a fully remote organization spread across multiple countries. Employees describe the environment as supportive and trusting, fueled by the positive urgency of building a disruptive, category-defining cybersecurity product.

What You'll Actually Do

As part of a global team of around 60 to 80 professionals, you'll be building and supporting an enterprise-grade DFIR platform.

- Engineering & Product: You'll work on advancing Binalyze AIR, integrating it with major SIEM, EDR, and SOAR tools, and developing features like automated compromise assessment and proactive threat hunting. The focus is on creating scalable, remote, and fast solutions.

- Go-to-Market & Operations: You'll be involved in educating the market, expanding the customer base, and ensuring that security teams globally understand how to leverage automation to solve complex investigation challenges.

Compensation & Benefits

Binalyze offers a comprehensive benefits package tailored for a remote-first workforce. While specific salary data for the US market is limited, the company provides strong perks including 28 days of vacation plus public holidays, and the ability to work from anywhere for up to 30 days a year. Other standout benefits include a fully paid 5-week sabbatical after five years, private medical insurance, home office setup assistance, and a generous personal development budget.

The Interview Process

Candidates generally report a positive and manageable interview experience, with Glassdoor reviews indicating a difficulty rating of around 2.3 out of 5. The process typically involves an initial screening, technical or role-specific assessments, and a strong focus on cultural fit. Interviewers often explore your professional beliefs, preferred work style, and how you align with their core values, ensuring you thrive in a highly autonomous, remote setting.

Why Join / Why Not

Why Join: If you are passionate about cybersecurity and want to work on a product that makes a tangible, immediate impact on how organizations handle cyber threats, Binalyze is an exciting place. The fully remote model, generous time-off policies, and strong financial backing provide a stable yet dynamic environment for growth.

Why Not: The fast-paced, startup environment of a rapidly scaling Series A company isn't for everyone. If you prefer the structure of a massive corporation or rely heavily on in-person office interactions to build your network, the highly autonomous and distributed nature of Binalyze might feel isolating.
