Role Overview
As a Data Scientist at EvenUp, you will be instrumental in building and refining the AI models that power our platform, which automates and optimizes personal injury claims. This role involves working with complex, unstructured legal data to extract meaningful insights, build predictive models for claim valuation, and improve the accuracy and efficiency of our AI-driven legal tools. You'll be at the intersection of AI, law, and social impact, helping to ensure fair compensation for victims.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy machine learning models for natural language processing (NLP) tasks on legal documents.
- Analyze large datasets of legal cases to identify patterns and build predictive models for claim valuation and settlement outcomes.
- Design and implement experiments to evaluate model performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with legal experts and engineers to translate domain knowledge into data features and model designs.
- Communicate complex analytical findings and model results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
